Studio Internship

The internship offers aspiring potters the chance to learn the ins and outs of running a ceramic studio. It operates on an exchange basis, with strictly no payment involved. Approximately six months is preferable; participants apply for a Cultural visa and cover the associated fees themselves.

What Interns Do

Interns spend roughly half their weekdays on studio organisation or research, and the other half on independent clay work. During international workshops they assist and participate, including some weekend hours.

Requirements

At least basic ceramic experience and strong English. Desirable: commitment and exploration, teamwork, a passion for organisation, photography, graphic design and multilingual fluency. The studio supplies time, space, equipment, materials, clay and kilns without charge (within respectful limits).

The Internship Program is currently on hold until further notice. We are not accepting applications at this time.
